Thermodynamics

Main tasks:

  • Design/optimization of intake and exhaust systemÁramlástani szimulációk készítése
  • Construction of a 1D engine model
  • Analysis of thermodynamic processes taking place in an engine
  • Design and testing of 3D models

Design

The department deals with the design and production of individual components for the engine and the brake pad. Various finite element and strength simulations and preparations take place here. We also deal with rapid prototyping, which we implement with 3D printing.

Main tasks:

  • Alkatrészek modellezése CAD szoftverben

  • 3D nyomtatás (FDM)

Main tasks:

  • Installation of engine and auxiliary equipment
  • Design and execution of engine component and car tests
  • Evaluation of test results
  • Participation in car tests and competitions

  • Knowledge of current and new engine control programs, engine control calibration
  • Support for engine dynamometer measurements
  • Development of engine brake bench and brake bench measuring system
  • Evaluation of test results
  • Selection and calibration of sensors
  • Participation in car tests and competitions

  • To get involved in the development process of a new hybrid powertrain
