A FORMER SZÉCHENYI UNIVERSITY STUDENT HELPS CHAMPIONS BORN ON THE ASPHALT STRIP AS A COMPETITION ENGINEER

As a child, he made vehicles out of Lego, and later he built a real racing car. Máté Gyenis was a founding member of the István Széchenyi University’s student team participating in the Formula Student racing series, and later became a professional racing engineer. He worked with Dutch touring car driver Nick Catsburg, helped Austrian Nico Grubert to the junior championship and strengthened Norbert Michelisz’s team, M1RA. The internationally known backer of motorsport is proud to have achieved all of this starting from the Széchenyi University.
